I built the battery boxes and rear rack with 1 1/2 aluminium angle stock , 1 in square stock, and 3/16 aluminium flat stock
I placed the bosch battery packs inside in vinyl gutter square tubing then covered with 1/16 in aluminium diamond plate and bolted them to the frame

So far it has been very easy to ride. My last build had the batteries on the rear rack so it was not balanced well. Since I moved the batteries to the downtube and cross bar it handles like a dream and NO annoying rattles. It tops out at 60 KPH (40 MPN) and draws 40 A@ 72 V so about 2750 watts.

not much to do with real TIDAL FORCE, except lettering on the frame.

Nice bike. Is that one of those suspension stems?

Yes I have had the Softride suspension stem for several years. I really like it. It has about 3 in of travel and does a good job absorbing the road bumps, I was going to put a front fork suspension on my bike, but I do not like the added weight. Thanks Neil
