Hi, I have recently purchased a 50/(52v) 25Ah battery from EM3EV and would like to find a matching direct drive hub motor and controller.
I have been looking around on aliexpress, but it seems like a jungle and it is hard to know what controller will work.
The battery is rated at 40 Amp continuous and 60 Amp bursts.
I would like a sine wave controller that can match this. (or maybe a little less to be safe?).
I would also like a compatible torque sensor for pedal assist.
There should ideally be a switch for 3 programmable modes on the controller so I can lend the bike to beginners.
The motor (with 26" rim) probably has to be able to handle 2000W continuous and 3000W max and be compatible with a cassette. It should have a hall sensor(?)
The bike frame dropout is 135mm.
The throttle should be a half-twist.

Does anyone have suggestions where I can get these components?

Well, EM3EV themselves probably have what youre after. If they dont, Grin Tech http://ebikes.ca should.

BTW, you might want to have a mod merge this thread with your original where people were already trying to help you with the project

Pick two of any of the three things you want. Then go to grin for it.

Things you might not get are cassette, and a three different programs. But you can get very close to what you want with the DP Cycle Analyst. It will allow quick and easy changes to max amps for one, which gives you a 500w bike for one rider, and 2000w for you. Easy adjustment that you can do out on the road in under a minute.

RE cassette, you don't realize it yet, but you will never shift out of high gear with 2000w. many running moped power and above are fine with one gear, since they never pedal anymore.
