There's 2 of these guys, one on each side, driven by 4 750 kW generators. Check out the size of those power cables... bigger than my leg. The motor is about 8-10 feet long .
The largest 3 phase induction motor I've stood next to was 15MW, which was shaft coupled to a brushed DC motor of half that again. Hundreds of commutator segments and dozens of 6" long brushes, which required frequent replacement. Interesting stuff to a nerd
Hahaha, that's in the motor room of the Sally Ride research vessel on its maiden voyage. I've got a friend who's a systems engineer who maintains those engines and basically deals with anything that breaks on the boat, and he gave me a midnight tour when it was docked in San Francisco Bay.
