I found a Pacific Scientific BLDC motor at the dump in a exercise treadmill . also got the controller for it. It is rated at 5 po at 3600 rpm 320 volts. As it is it is little use to me but if I could rewire it to run on produce 1500-2000 watts at 36 volts I could use it to replace the PM brushed motor in my 1974 general electric Electrak riding lawnmower!. The motor has 18 poles and 12 magnets and is wound with quite small wire. Motor is from a truefitness ztx treadmill they call it s-drive and claim 6 horsepower. The controller runs on 110vac. I have run this motor with my goldenmotor 36v e-bike controller and it runs. but doesn't produce much power!

The motor is the same as this one http://www.ebay.com/itm/Pacific-Scientific-6hp-320vdc-Brushless-Servomotor-Servo-Motor-PMC5FB-00101-01/272522532091
