Bought a 10 ton hydralic crimper so I should be going solderless for the parallel connections on my harnesses.

Got my new 18s6p harness from ice, sweet! That makes three harnesses from him now and all of them have zip for voltage drop. :)

Hydralic Crimper came in a few days. Im very impressed at the strength and quality of the crimp. So there will be no solder at the parallel sections now. I yanked on these pretty hard. I had one end in the vice and other wrapped around my hand pulling with all my might and i couldnt get it to slide out the crimp. This reduces cost for me and improves quality. The gurus always said wire on wire was better that wire on solder on wire. Less Loss more throughput.

Cool - and it looks like I'm getting the first "crimped" harness :-)

Really should order my packs now!

Switching from 5 W Ceramic Square Resistors to 5w Round Carbon Film... SHould be easier for me to heat shrink for strain relief.

Seeing alot of international biters cmon peeps I dont bite... its not me that raping you its the shipping people and customs. I ship very fast long time for 5 dowrahs.

I would like to help any ES member out within reason. If you need stuff from the states for your bike and it can fit in one of these flat rate boxes... i can ship up to 20lbs of shit for about $45... everything from charger to wire to my harness.. fuses resistors anything... i beat paying retarded shipping for single items.... Ship it to me and ill send a care package to you guy... except for batteries...

Im also willing to build you peeps lipo battery solution. within the us. Im teaming up with some very good minds and as long as you have common sense well have a fool solution for you and charging solution. If you have the vision. I will build it test it...cycle it.. ride it to death and read back performance data.and give it my tested thumbs up.

the price of 4s and 6s packs are cheap...man peeps should be hopping and buying packs. Even =

For the parallel sections that have 'ears', I think it might help to stagger the crimp location so that if there was enough vibration to wear through the heatshrink in any particular joint, it would not have the adjacent 'ear' to short. It would have to cut through a wire jacket as well. (That's if you don't get rid of the ear thing)

Regardless of fuse placement it still sees full pack voltage across it when it blows. :)

Nothing wrong with putting the fuse in the middle, often it is mechanically a good place anyway.
