Hello,

We are looking to get a replacement controller for a 500 watt, 48 volt E bike kit system.

Needs to pull a Pedicab around burningmann....

Can I order one still?

Thanks, Josh K.

Hi Ed
I have a 48V 10 ah battery with oetoma motor.
I want to buy one of your controllers and add some circuitry and programming modes. Is it possible to get schematic of it prior to buying it.
If it is proprietary I apologize I don’t want to ask for anything proprietary
My goal is to add blue tooth and show motor battery status on a cell phone if that helps any
I am embedded system engineer so i know my way around this stuff.

Hi Ed,

apologies in advance for the dumb question. How do I switch this controller on? Is it with the small red wire to be connected to the + of the battery (through a switch)?

Can you give me some estimates of the power consumption of the controller when idle/off?

Thanks,

Maurizio

I recently buy a 4110 mini monster programmable controller SENSORED for 72V.
I cumulate the bugs with it:
- no power, no torque under 60V.=> increase the parameter of phase current to 80A (between 2 and 3 times the rated current)
- with the new phase current value, it seems to be working fine, but after 500 meter, the controller is out of order. i checked the DC level on the throttle, 3 speed switch, everythings seem to be OK, but the wheel is not supplied at all.

Does somebody have an idea of the issue?

I think to change the MOSFET, but before doing it i want to be sure.
I'm also looking for the schematic of the EB312 version of the controller. so that i could repair it by myself.
thank you for your answer.

Hi, how about shipping this controller to Russia?
Or the price $79 includes the shipping cost?
Where can I get a device with switches to restrict currency
from controller to the motor (I don't know it's exact name,
if such thing exists in e-bike world)
Thanks

Hi Programmer001,

Thanks for your inquiry. Can you tell me the brand and the model of the motor you have? Also, what is your battery voltage? I will configure the controller for your battery prior I ship it out.

The shipping cost for the controller to Russia is only $19.95 via USPS First Class Mail Service. I will pay the extra if it costs more to ship. I will also declare the package as gift and declare the lowest custom value. This way, you should not have to pay the extra custom or VAT fees.

As for the device you are referring to, the closest would the the three speed switch ($15). The lower the speed, the lower the current would be.

What is the high voltage cutoff for this controller? I Have two 13s batteries I wanted to put in series, but I don't want to fry my controller. I will reprogram the controller also.

Hi Ed,

Are you still selling controllers? As my username suggests, I have a Bike-E semi-recumbent and I'm converting it into an E Bike-E. I bought a 48 V battery and motor, and I'm looking for a 20 A controller. I'm not putting on any extras, not even a brake connection. So I'm just looking for a simple inexpensive controller at 48V 20A, and I live in Toronto, Canada. I hope to hear from you!

Cheers,
Joe

Hi Ed,

I got a 6 FET 3077 HSL Mini Monster Sensorless LYEN Edition Controller ($89) last year. It was programed for 20A, but I think you said max voltage is 60V. Is that rated voltage or absolute max. I'm building a lithium ion 18650 battery that theoretically has an absolute max voltage of 67V. However, I'm getting a charger that will have a lower voltage than that because I want the battery to last. What is the absolute max voltage my controller can take? Technically my battery will be a rated 59V battery.

Thanks!
Joe
