Got mine today. Thanks Vladimir(Accountant)!
It was kind of a fastest delivery ever (delivered in less than 6 days via regular post) :D
Some quick pictures. 9C motor is for size comparison.
Was pleased with the size of the phase wires, they look at least 3 times thicker than stock 9C wires.
Axle looks much thicker as well, but the flat part is still 10mm thick what means it will fit bike frame easily.
Standard 6 bolt disk break rotor mount also looks nice.
Well, look yourself at the pictures...

What would people use this motor for on a bicycle ?

Is it acceleration or speed, or both ?

I think the mac has great acceleration at 3500 watts, so what kind of watts are people going to run through this ?

BY the way the Greyborg is a super looking frame, great work, I loved the pics of the aluminium swing arm!

Yes, what kind of power does this monster need to run fast? And how fast? Is it a motor from a scooter? More or less efficient?
Power is a fascinating thing, the more you have, the more you want, but the real power is having the restraint not to use it all at once...............Um...Yeah..

The harder you work.....The luckier you get!!

This motor is fast, around 70km/h with 24s a123 (lifepo4) in a 24" wheel and yet it has massive torque because of its size and it only eight 10kg... whats the weight of the magic pie? 8kg?
If im not mistaken they are rated for 4kw continuos and MAC is rated for 500-1000w even tho they are abused at 3kw.... eventually something ll give.
I see two usage scenarios for this:
Ultra reliable "commuter" with 6kw-8kw bursts.
Racing bicycle or offroad cycling with who knows how many kilowatts.
On top of that Accountant customer service is class A.
A decent 25mph bike will cost around $1000.
A decent 35mph bike will cost around $2000.
A $1000 35mph bike will get you killed.

magic pie I think is around 7kg, It can take a lot of power!

The mac has taken the 3500 watt abuse fairly well, and still runs perfect, it's hills that will catch out the mac, really long ones where not so with the pie.

However this motor looks like it will take a hell of a lot of power continuous, it's rated for 6kw continuous ? that's a hell of a lot of power for an E-bike!

Its rated for 4kw continuos by the manufacurer, it was actually made for scooters(im not sure on the info) and adapted to fit bicycle dropout, disk brakes, etc.
Even the magic pie wich is a monster is rated for 1k continuos.
Im eargly waiting to test the big hub uphill.

I think the 1kw continuous rating for the magic pie is for the internal controller more than the motor. 1kw in the pie is nothing.

I've run over 3kw through the pie up steep hills and it was only warm!

Yeah I did fry the halls going up 16% but it made it and still works, and 16% is not what people will go near most of the time!

I want to see people make movies with this motor in action !

Mine left Croatia on Nov 9th, hope to have it soon. I'm thinking 20" bicycle wheel, 125V (30S Lipo). Hope that gets me over 100kmh. There will be videos.

I'm going to start off mild though with only 125V 40A and see how it does there to make sure the controller is OK. I run my 9C 2806 at 60A in a 20" wheel and it seems to love it. Should have the 9C setup back together this weekend. Purchased some Pirelli ML75 scooter tires, 2.75x16" for the rear and 2.5x16" for the front.

Might have to find a 200V controller to compete with Luke for the endless sphere king ding a ling title

Am I correct to say that this motor will not fit normal bike? i.e. it's too wide for disc and freewheel to be mounted?

It's been modified to fit a bike. It's written somewhere on this thread.

Original idea was to build motor for Greyborg frame. it fits perfectly.

In " normal bike" it can be fit, but with singlespeed freewheel.

We use Schlumpf in front and have 2 speeds with singlespeed freewheel in the back.

There was funny coment somwhere ;

If you need more than 2 speeds with Greyborg, you are not using it properly. :)

Yeah i was kind of expecing that answer. :-) i just want know what freewheel i should get if i decide to buy one later one. I wonder if this motor can sustain 50mph for more than an hour without burning out assuming one have enough battery to sustain it.

QUICK UPDATE : This motors kv is 9.5 , since characteristics are so beautiful . I we decided to talk to accountant and we added to order 10motors x 17kv version for test.
Certainly its overdoing it, but the tourge level is so high that 17 kv will have still pretty decant acceleration.
This one is only made for braking records and kv is designed in collaboration with one of the fastest man on the ES :) ...
..you know who you are
p.s. i know there will be comments about this kv - too much etc..... but wait until the guys who bought the 9.5kv motor put some videos ..you will understand why 17kv will still be fine :)
