at 2.6ah they would be LiCo, a very dangerous chemistry for ebikes, unless you know EXACTLY what you're doing. Very low discharge rates, very high energy density. Don't touch these things unless you're an experienced guru.

Hi,

Also listed here:
http://www.diyelectriccar.com/forums/showthread.php?p=254470
I have about 200 of the Panasonic and 150 of the Sanyo both same specs which is 3.65v nominal, range is 2.5v to 4.5v
2.7ah hardly used and all have solderable tabs. Cells are about 2 years old and I don't believe they have been used much
as the BMS attached to them was defective. Voltage would be 3v+ when shipped.

He also does not balance them; just bulk charges. Says they've worked for him...

Bulk charging LiCo ?
Best Wishes!

To be honest, it doesn't sound like he's the one who made the pack.

Edit: I say this because in my correspondence he says they don't go out of balance without a BMS, that they can be just bulk charged, and clearly they originally had a BMS [from the DIYelectric link]. So, he is not being fully honest.

Hi,

It sounds like he meant the same type of cells in the VW conversion, not the same physical cells.

You might want to clarify- where are these coming from? Real sanyo cells, or high quality fakes? Are they old? Remaining capacity?

I am just saying this because I expect anyone interested in the cells will want to know at least that info^

And the price is?
It's annoying when people put stuff up for sale without a price. :(

I'm more annoyed by the repetitious cross-posting. This user has alread listed the same item

here, in items for sale NEW:
viewtopic.php?f=31&t=36272&p=526021#p526021

and 10 minutes later, in items for sale USED:
viewtopic.php?f=9&t=36273&p=526024#p526024

Not to mention here:
viewtopic.php?f=31&t=27133&p=392029#p392029

and here:
viewtopic.php?f=31&t=24366&p=352876#p352876

and here:
viewtopic.php?f=31&t=22935&p=333539#p333539

etc etc etc. You can read through his posts to see more.

I don't understand why he keeps creating new threads, instead of bumping his old ones. I would probably cut him some slack if he participated on the forum by contributing knowledge, but he has only posted here to sell stuff. OTOH, the more stuff for sale here the better. OTOOH, dunno if I would buy from someone who doesn't have a reputation on E:S. {conflicted]

@Oatnet (and others that used the report button instead of posting): You're right, so I merged *ALL* his sale threads for all items into his oldest sale thread. Since he usually doesn't come back to post in them anyway when people ask questions, it doesnt' really matter if all the items are all mixed up.

All future sales posts in the market by outolunch will be moved to this thread. All sales posts by outolunch outside the market will be deleted.

I'd say they could probably use a better salesman; one who will post the price, picture, and location of the goods.

Re: outolunch/Cruisin@live.com's FOR SALE thread.

Outolunch has now posted four different sale threads (one a week or two ago, which I deleted but let slide, three today which I deleted but am no longer letting slide) outside this thread, despite repeated warnings not to do so.

Outolunch has now earned a 1-month ban, as well as removal of those other sale threads.

EDIT (added, 5-3-12): For the creation of username "evnut" as a way to get around the temporary ban, the "outolunch" username has been permanently banned. The "evnut" username has been deleted, as will future usernames by this person as they are discovered, for flagrant disregard of moderation instructions about commercial for-sale postings, then for further ignoring and going around temporary bans to try to get the point across.
