Ask yourself if that is based on AH (as the CA is) or based on Voltage (which is totally useless for chemistry like LiFe). Even worse, the "fuel gauge" can only be set to an interval of Lead Acid battery... so you cant even try to adjust it to your lipo pack.
The box has some cool features and it integrates with the controller chip nicely but it is not a replacement for the CA. More of a cool gadget than a serious meter.
Think about how the efficiency and torque measurements are being calculated when the box knows nothing of the motor it is hooked to. How could it POSSIBLY claim to make such a measurement? It cant... I guess it is nice that it shows a noob rider that high load and low speed is inefficient - but that is about it.
Kenny could have hit a grand slam with this box but it is missing a couple of very key concepts that the CA does perfectly.

no news yet,,,clyte now has the APM's but they still gave me no info as to what it reads from the controller,,,volts, AH, speed etc.it will be interesting to see what in fact it will do and if it will need a magnet and sensor on the wheel to determine speed.
