@icecube57- Good video education, I have a question, and are you using 12 or 14 awg wiring?

Very nice and easy, Ice. Where did you get those bell shaped copper sleeves?

Hello I am in the uk, do you supply a full service. I.e. Supply the batteries and make them into the required battery pack and provide a charging solution, I am worried about getting a lipoprotein with all the talk of balancing, why can't u just charge them like lifepo4? Does the charger charge and balance all the batteries at once for you?

I thought the JST plugs were keyed to prevent reverse insertion, or am I mistaken?

last week i plugged JST plugs backwards and smoked my balance leads completely.
I was just tired and almost done with building a pack. One moment of carelessness is enough...

Yes it is possible to insert them reversed if you are not careful.

mine are. They have 2 notches on the top of each JST so you cannot plug them in up-side-down. The male notch must slide into the female knotch or it simply wont plug in. I have gotten very small sparks before from my balance plugs, however. This is usually when i kinda slide the plug sideways wile plugging it in. i assume some pins that shouldnt touch are touching for a split second. Happened about 5 times now on about 50 charges. no damage in any way. spark is very very tiny.

Just want to to say "Two Thumbs Up"" for Ice cube and his custom harnesses! He puts out a great product and is very passionate about his work and quality of his harnesses. Don't think twice about purchasing products from him. His advice and support is fantastic, as I plan to do more business with him. "Thanks"
