this is a separate thread for European members. I think the price of the hub motor alone will be around 390EUR incl all import taxes and VAT + shipping. And luckily that I'm am based in Luxembourg where VAT is the lowest in Europe!

Unfortunately EUROPE is not USA in the respect of making business the easy way.

PLEASE ONLY REPLY TO THIS THREAD IF YOU ARE 100% POSITIVE TO PUT DOWN MONEY AND WAIT 2 MONTHS TO GET THE MOTOR. Once we have 30 people who signed up, we will action the buy.

In the "5403/5404 US/CANADA Groupbuy all ordering info here" thread I read that:
"All motors will have 11g phase wires(10g will not fit) and upgraded halls
SKF 6004-2RS / SKF 6005-2RS bearing
HONEYWELL SS40 sensors
the following upgrades are in fact 20$ extra so total 420$"

If the upgrades are optional I want them

I live in Norway. I don't mind the wait, but if the europe buy does not reatch high enough numbers and get closed down, I want to join the american buy.

But i dont understand what you mean with laced/unlaced...

He means if you want the motor naked or laced... Spokes,rim...
You can lace it at any bike store,the size of the spokes could be difficult to find though.

i am in for 5403, just contemplating about 150mm or 135mm and left to know from where the lowest final postage gona be to israel 52481, from you wojtek or from maxwell.
i hope there is ground shipping from luxembourg, even if ground i know from eBay that european postage is high for some greedy reason, hence sea shipment from maxwell might be close or lower to european rates.

tell me please what is it from luxembourg.

also would it be possible to order an extra hub shell/case ?

people that will want more torque should consider this, you lace the extra shell into 20" rim or anything smaller than what you use and just switch the stator if you started with a bigger wheel like 26", so you wont have to disassamble and relace the same motor, it's about 30min work if you start from wheel in bike frame.
