No kidding!?? A wife can do that? And more importantly, a husband needs to comply??? Is the USA still the land of "Life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness"? Thanks for the laugh.

looool. A WIFE CAN DO THAT. AND SHE DOES. they have ways to make you behave the way they want you to behave :)
i have a wife and 3 girls. i may start to put on makeup some day and use tampons - who knows *ggg*

That's Austria. I can't say for sure how things are in the USA, but I can assure you that's not the case in Houston. We're TEXANS, we still have balls.

sure. you carry guns whereever you are. you even sleep with them. maybe that's why your wifes fear you.
i'm quite sure i have balls - kids don't "happen" if you don't have balls :) and at least this morning in the shower i'm sure i saw them ...
but maybe texan girls are just smarter and you don't realise that they manipulate you, and you think you act at your OWN will ;)

It's not fear. It's mutual respect. But I know what you're talking about. I just find it distasteful watching some of my friends being led like a pet by their wives. Gallantry has its limits, but some women push it way beyond the breaking point.

Here fechter's comment.

fechter wrote:Sorry guys....

I'll try to at least get you an update on what's going on.
Basically both of our wives have prohibited us from working on the project anymore after wasting so much time and money with little hope of recovering it.

I'm literally working 3 jobs right now to make ends meet with 3 kids in college. I don't have lots of spare time these days.

I'm trying to work out some kind of alternate plan since the design seems to be finally worked out. It would be a shame to put so much into the thing and let it die at this stage.

Otherwise I understood your situation.

If I could find a source of funding, I could possibly get some bare boards made.
They won't be cheap though.

Back to the topic. I've been waiting for Gary to reply to my messages since Jan 23rd. I understand his wife doesn't let him play with his toys, but at the moment he owes me either the money I paid for a BMS that doesn't work or a working BMS.

Considering the situation and the product support I'm getting I would rather get my money back. The situation is regrettable, but I must say the product (although not fully functional) I received was professionally packaged and the support was great while it lasted. If at anytime in the future Gary's wife allows him to work on this stuff I would recommend him very much.

Hi guys,

I was going to order a kit for a 12s2p setup but I'm glad I read to the end of the thread! How about opening up the project and posting the PCB design files so people could make their own PCBs? I've got a mate with an etching tank...
