Crystalyte HT3525 - Sold

My plans have shifted, so here is a brand new Crystalyte HT3525 rear hubmotor factory laced into a 26" MTB rim. It is from MethTek.com and has the inspections and wiring protection mods that Patrick does on his motors.

This motor has not been installed, test fit or powered. It is still in the original Crystalyte wheel bag and I have the original shipping box.

The rim is factory 26" Crystalyte Mountain Bike type with heavy spokes. It is a strong wheel.

Is the rim the standard Crystalyte rim?

Rim is standard factory, it says Crystalyte on it.

I will have to find out about shipping cost to Australia.

What's the max amps these will take and what is the rpm/volt of this motor??

This motor has the diameter of a 9C but laminations and magnets are about 35mm instead of 28mm wide. So it has about 25% more torque and power than the 9C.

The HT3525 winding is supposed to make 25 km/h at 36V in a 26" wheel. Kv listed here as 7.25 RPM/V, though that may not be the final number:

Luke's Dyno testing showed the power capability of this motor is about 10KW output:

Is the motor sensored or sensorless? I cant tell by the picture.
Also are you sure its not a 3540 because the spokes on the 3525 on methtek's site do not match the rim you have pictured?

It is sensored.

It was sold to me as HT3525, so I presume that is correct. Purchase was October, it is listed in the thread here:

If you go to methteks site it definatly looks like the 3540 the spokes on the3525 are way different. Maby they have their pictures messed up?

The pictures on my website are backwards at the moment... Someone just pointed that out the other day. I need to fix that....

I will extend the "cut wire warranty" that he had to whomever buys this motor. This warranty does not cover overheating but it does mean that I will replace your motor free of charge if you have a failure related to "cut wires". In case you dont know - some of the early motors sold by a lot of different retailers had an issue where the dust washer would cut into the wire bundle and kill the halls.

These motors do not have that problem - I guarantee it

Put 18S lipo on this at 80A and you will be very happy.
(you can easily mod any 12 fet ebikes.ca controller to 80A right out of the box)
