I ordered a Cromotor when he got the new batch and had him ship it to Ilia at Ebikes SF to lace up for me. While waiting for my rims, it sat for a month, then Ilia went to mock it up bare while still waiting (into the same frame that I have) and then noticed a crack in the cover, apparently stemming from a pore in the casting*, after already mounting it. I emailed zombiess right away with the picture of the crack and without hesitation he said to have it shipped back and he'd send out a new one (despite the fact that I failed to have it inspected thoroughly upon arrival and that it had been mocked up already [though not used]). When he received the motor he immediately sent out the new one and refunded me more than enough money to cover the return shipping, just for the hassle. The new Cromotor should be delivered to Ilia on Monday (and will be thoroughly inspected of course).
If this was any typical company I'd more than likely be told to screw off since it was already mounted and had been over 30 days. But, of course, he isn't any typical company. A+ service all around.
*It should be noted that, while most or all of the other covers from this batch also have pores in them, none of the other 100 have a problem (including the many in use already). The aluminum is thick and I was told it shouldn't be an issue with any others. However, Greyborg decided to use a different manufacturer for the covers on the new batches because of this issue. A+ for them as well.

I sort of want to put the cromotor I got from you in a lightweight motorcycle (borderline scooter but not really). It will weigh around 150lbs. Do you think I should swap the axle for the original scooter axle? Cn you source these? I don't see 20kW out of the question.

-How do you overcome the 99amp limit on the cycle analyst?
On an unrelated note I now have only one motor left
