I have 2 motors up for sale that I was going to use for projects but now don't have time for.
The first is a wider than usual 9C style motor - standard stator width is 27mm, this one is 30mm. So it's basically half way between a 9C and crystalyte H35 motor. These are usually used in electric scooters but this one is laced to a standard 26" ebike rim. It's an 8x8 wind and with the wider stator this gives the best copper fill for getting the best power handing out of these things.
It has threaded side covers on both sides so you'd need a thread on adaptor to run disc brakes, which I can supply too.
Due to the hub being wider than normal it can't take a 6-7 speed freewheel in a standard 135mm drop out - only single speed, or maybe 3 speed.
$290
The other motor is your fairly standard '1000w' scooter motor and comes with a cast 18" alloy rim. This rim is thick and wide and would take a huge tyre - up to moped size. You know the deal, smaller wheel + higher voltage = win. Bolt this on your MTB and laugh at all those guys running "big" 20" wheels
Side covers have bolt on disc brakes.
$250
Why not buy both and make yourself a sick 2wd electric penny farthing ?
Pick up in Sydney or domestic postage within Australia only.
