I have a 5404 in route to JRH I have figured that out at least. And I have a 18 fet controller from Lyen to run 30S

Need to figure out front fork among other things. Got a nice update from Phasor today - sounds like they are moving
forward with making these a reality so was great to hear.

Once I know that's happening I will probably find a front fork shock etc..

Still very interested to see what others are doing.. and for anyone on the fence it's time to jump off ;p

From the customer reviews I've been reading, the 888 rc3 v2 has been getting nothing but great reviews. Everyone compairs it to the Fox 40. The 888 only requires service yearly, the Fox 40 requires service every 30 hours.. 888 can be had for 800 shipped. Fox 40 is 1500 shipped. Easy choice for me. RC 4 shock is awesome but a lot of $. Keep your eyes out on ebay, they can be had for under 200. I haven't ordered all my parts yet. If you want, PM me. I know I can get parts cheaper if ordering doubles, so if your interested in getting the same parts I listed, PM me. I was thinking of buying a used DH bike, but the individule parts I want, I can find new, for less than a $2,500 used dh bike. Multiple PMs back and forth with David @ Phasor has finally enabled me to start ordering parts i KNOW will fit the frame. So I've started buying!

Thanks Guys

The only component that I have is a rock Shok XC32. But will spend on the rear shock. On eBay at the moment there's a xc4 boost valve shock 2011 for $359. Still haven't purchased brakes. I've also looked at used down hill but they are not popular in western Australia and a good one is over 1500. I have a 408 motor on the way and looking at having a lipo pack made here in Perth, 72 volt possibly 24 amps.
I may need to PM a David before I start spending, thanks Deutch and Ohzee for the advise as I'm quite new to this.

I still need to buy brakes. I have never used disc brakes only road bike caliper type brakes. Any suggestions what other people have used on electric bikes. What work well with the extra weight and speed.

I bought some bb7's for my yuba mundo and they stop me on a dime.. I installed them myself and it was quite easy.

teklektik made a great post about installing them on the yuba , but you can get the idea how easy it is by watching.

I did get the larger size brake for front/back and I think that makes a difference for anything fast.

I will probably go the same route my phasor as I am very impressed with their stopping ability even from 30mph.

Just purchased a h3580 motor. I'm going for speed. I ended up buying the fox rear shock RC4 for 350 off eBay.

Speed means Volts. And lots of them :D
Voltron the Electric RG250 - Dual Agnis, Kelly 1200A controller, 6 kWh of A123 cells from Cell_Man and a shitty old chassis from 1985 :| Top speed 180 km/h, max current 600 A @ 100 V.
VoltronII 8)
Say no to spaghetti junction LiPo! Assembled Hi-power LiPo packs of any size!

Come on Casey! If you want prototype racing, throw your leg over something with lithium in it :D

Chris, Matt has purchased the motor not sure about the controller but it will be 72 volt. So it battery time now. So ready for your expertise.

BB7's are the greatest mechanical brakes! Jut got them installed yesterday to replace my front brake. These things are powerful! I feel like if I pull hard enough on the lever they will launch me over the handle bars  I never used hi quality disk brakes before and these are it!

Where did you get the H3580 motor? If you don't mind my asking. I have been looking all over for it. And the only people who seem to be selling are HPC and they are overpricing it to $650  .

A guy here in Perth. He got 2 one for himself and one for me. At first we were going to get the HS4080 but it's only a single speed. I can ask Matt and see if he's prepared to get you one. These are the first he's imported
