Why don't you propose complete kit? That will certainly help many noobs to buy a fully functional pack at a good price, and you probably still be able to make make some profit

I know he wants to get some feedback first on these cell/tab connection kits. Also, it is much cheaper to build complete batteries in-country & sell local than ship across borders except maybe within the EU.

It's waayyy cheaper for him to sell his tiny kits long-distance out of country. Once his design is finished, then these replicate easy enough. Building a battery is far more complicated & risky too!!!

Hi, and thanks for the question. It is a complete kit otherwise i would sell battery pack ;) There are couple of reasons i don't involve in pack building. First - logistics. I would have to buy cells from china, say 150USD to ship 30 cells, i then pay 21% import TAX. Then i sell it to you, add 150USD +21% + around same shipping cost to you and then you pay your import. I am not talking about hassle with customs. Second reason in western worlds you'd expect to receive a warrant and i can not issue one on cells of unknown origin. And third - i cant sacrifice my other job for this as there is uncertainty with these cells if A123 goes down and building packs involves lots of time for testing etc.
This kit is for noobs, as it involves basic tasks to build your pack and leaves thinking aside on how to terminate tabs etc.
So there you go, its a win win solution :)

Agree, it's quite time consuming that's why I prefer to buy pre-made pack.

Another alternative is to sell the sells in a similar fashion that dr. bass is doing: just a bulk test then ship cells. The issue I see for now is that in europe there is no cheap and reliable way to get good A123 cells. So for now everyone have to purchase them directly from china and pay high shipping cost.

Maybe one day we'll have a 20AH A123 cells distributor at good price? Mavizen is way too pricey lol

Hi agniusm!
Are you using anything to separate the cell like fish paper or thin plastic or are you leaving them as you show in the video without separaters? Thanks in advance!

I received two 16s kits, and I'm very pleased with the quality of this product. I will be reviewing my assembly using this kit within a month, waiting on the cells now, but if you've been sitting on "the fence" wondering whether the quality is good enough, then don't wait anymore. I recommend this kit now! :D 8)

Hi. I. would be good to go with 10 kits, there is a big factory making blocks and they wouldn't bother with smaller quantities. It took them 4 weeks to make these, prob had orders before me. PCB's take a week to make.
I have to take deposits to cover at least some of expenses if someone would decide to back out, in the end it's a specific stuff and only handfull of people are into this. Cheers

EDIT: I think i will change end blocks and use same 6mm. This way there will be option to rearange and sell different kit making only PCB. I will go mere in detail later.

Agniusm has these available on sale again. Order before August 13th to get a kit. He only does small production runs, so you might have to wait a long time between runs. Order now if possible to avoid long waits. :D

The kit's are available on request and completion time is two weeks + roughly 10 days for it to reach you. At the moment i have some blocks in stock and completion time at the moment is one week + 10 days for delivery. If you want to purchase a kit, paypal me at agniusmk@gmail.com putting a note on what you buy. This is very important as i cant psychically remember everyone's choice. Include 30USD shipping in your payment. The price is for single kit. More items will weigh more therefore increase postage price slightly, check that with me. If ordering 3+ kits, there is 10% discount on items (not postage).
Thanks everyone for choosing my product, i am sincerely honored.
Regards, Agnius

Posting this to see if there is some interest in complete kits. Again, few changes:
1. Front cover plate will not be included as there will be PP plastic (100C) cover vacuum formed to hide all connections.
2. Only Front blocks used.
3. Brass nuts soldered to the PCB to further ease assembly
4. Complete PP(100C) bottom cover included

Nothing else will be required to assemble your packs, except maybe some kapton tape, some foam.

The price is working out at 101USD for 6S kit. I am thinking making these available:
4S for ICE automotive use
6S for spaced modules
12S
16S
24S
I am not competing with ONS kits nor others. If someone is in Europe i can build required batteries for them for a fee.

Not yet mate. This is early stage. I need at leas 5 orders on each type of the kit just to break even. Molds cost a lot for the enclosure. There is time for interested to jump in and suggest changes that are practical, don't increase the price.
