Folks, this is a repeat of another For Sale thread that ALREADY has valuable info about this battery. No sense in debating that excellent information AGAIN.

PLEASE DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND READ THE POSTS IN THAT THREAD LINKED BELOW...

Yup, it's not very kosher to make a new thread just because people demonstrate some evidence of dishonesty in your selling claims.
New to endless-sphere? Notice a lot of signatures recommending Ebike.ca? That's because it's the best place for a quality and manageable, (but still 'real'), first build. Justin is a solid supporter of electric bike development, and a good source of equipment.

This is the third reposting of the same item.
The first thread was a very long thread with several respected ES members disputing many of the claimed specs and attributes of this pack. As well as several less established members just complaining about the shady deceptiveness of the selling tactics (like me!)

Then Lester made a new thread, which was promptly posted upon <<hey, this is a questionable seller. Buyer beware. He made a new thread to hide the complaints in the old thread>>

Now, this third thread. What gives?
Technically, I just realized that you are posting two different battery models [I.e, I'm halfway wrong. I think this is a questionable way to be differentiating your two threads, as you're a vendor and not just an individual seller. Custom would be to group it in one thread. So, I suppose you can consider my post simply making sure the same warning is placed on this thread.

Buyer be aware. These are cells designed for use in laptops, and halfway decent for very low power bikes. You will see much worse performance and longevity at 2C, they are not really rated to that. They might be quite suitable for you if your usage is in a 250 watt bike. Above that, not so much.

To OP: Per previous discussion as noted in the original CEB sale thread,
http://endless-sphere.com/forums/viewto ... 29#p511329
which was locked due to other issues, all of your sale posts are to remain in one thread.

I have merged your new sale threads together into this one, and am of strong mind to merge them into the original thread instead.

For sale posts outside of this thread will in future be auto-deleted, and all future posts by you mentioning allcell packs or your business for any reason will be moved to this thread, your original thread, or removed.

We also have 36 Volt 10AH lithium battery packs in stock. They weigh just 5.1lbs. Very light and reliable.

The battery packs come with positive and negative wires which you can connect to your ebike or scooter's controller box. The batteries will work in any 36 volt direct current (DC) electric bicycles and electric scooters.

If you havent heard there are big delays in shipping of lithium batteries coming from China.

Our packs ship from Chicago IL USA so there are no delays in shipping to customers in USA and Canada. Take a look if you get a chance..

I've looked at so many venders of batteries that sometimes my eyes cross. This battery is smaller and lighter than anyone I've seen yet. I can get 2 of them into the triangle of my bike which will total 26ah in a 48v package.

First, I didn't want the hairball of a bunch of rc batteries. Second, I wanted to keep the width to 4" so I wasn't banging my ankles and knees all the time. Third, I wanted to deal with an Amercan assembler. Fourth, I get a two year warrantee. Fifth, I wanted all the ah I could get and keep it in the triangle.
Other things that convinced me this was the way to go for me. Allcell, the assembler of the packs are based in Chicago, they use 18650 cells sourced from Panasonic/Sanyo from Japan, LG from Korea, and Horizen Power Sources of New York, with three factories in china, warehouse in New Jersey.
Falconev makes a triangle pack for $750, but it is 13ah.
If you can find as powerful, lightweight, battery pack with 48v and at least 20ah for less, that fits the 1,2, and 5th criteria above, I salute you.

Can't do. 13x7.6" doesn't fit, nor will 15.2x6.5, and together they are heavier with less ah. Try again
They are slim though!

Yeah well, you tell me where else you can get a battery made by a 13 year old factory worker with parkinsons disease making < $1/hr putting together the most dangerous battery possible in a room full of dust using all sorts of miscalibrated machines and working 16 hour shifts.. yeah.. that's right! give me RC lipo or give me death!

But seriously, this is a well behaved sales thread, so let's not talk smack about the guy's product here, ok?

There are good things about this battery, and Grey beard bought his for all the right reasons.

Grey Beard: it would be nice if you could post an independent review of this battery later on, if you get a chance.

I agree, but it is made up of Panasonic cells. Those aren't cheap. They really aren't! i hunted for a bargain on them and no dice

These packs come out to >170/kg, which is exceptional. If you run the packs at around just 1C continuous, they could last well over 500 cycles.

I wouldn't call them the best value but they seem quite good. My stickling point is the 2C performance which is going to be poor. But if you want the lightest battery on the market, this is it.

If you take your batteries, and compute $ per ah, then multiply that by 26, I'm only $125up, and the great thing is they fit. No matter how I twist 'em, two of those 10.8ah Batteries don't fit, so any amount I pay for them is too much. Fitment, weight, and ah, trump the approx. 5.00 per ah extra for me.

Appreciate the respect of a group trying to support a "made in USA" ebike business model, and yea the battery has a place. That said, I'm one of the folks going to the A123 AMP20 pack build because of the necessity of a higher C rate, one that would support my 500 watt draw going up hills, frequently. I went through two packs before finding salvation.

Nope, not any more. Panasonic/Sanyo moved production of these cells to China this last summer and stopped making them in Japan.

I made that assertion some time ago based on research into the question. See:
Looking For an American Lithium Battery Supplier?

Apart from tearing open a pack to look at the label on the cells, its merely an assertion. I had sent an email to AllCell with the question, but they never responded. Its likely that they want to remain flexible in sourcing cells, so won't make an "official" statement. Nonetheless, I'm confident that they're going to the largest most reputable international manufacturers to purchase cells, so likely Panasonic or Samsung. Would like to see confirmation on the question. :?:

Mike:  Thanks for contacting us.  There is certainly a lot of misinformation out there, no question.

The simple answer to your question is we are cell agnostic.  We have used  and continue to incorporate 18650 Li-ion NCM cells from multiple manufacturers.  For example, we use Sanyo (Japan) cells for many of our applications in addition to LG (Korea) and Horizon (US company with Chinese manufacturing).

I hope this adequately addresses your inquiry and please let me know if you have any additional questions.

Very best,
