We recently added some information to our website which should be useful for people building electric vehicles. One of our customers did a conversion of a Royal Enfield motorcycle to electric. He used Big Blue Saw to create parts for the frame as well as the battery holder.

Check out our article on using Big Blue Saw in this electric vehicle conversion:

We've added a few tips on designing and assembling waterjet cut parts with nutstrip. Nutstrip makes it easy to hold pieces solidly together at 90 degree angles.

Every tool has its limitations. When you're desgning parts to be made using waterjet cutting, it's critical to know what the waterjet can and cannot do. We often have customers who are disappointed to find out that their parts will be tabbed together, or can't have a sharp inside corner, or a hole that's under 0.04" in diameter. That's why we've created a 4 part series of articles so you know exactly what to expect when getting your parts waterjet cut.

Designing for Waterjet, Part 1

Designing for Waterjet, Part 2

Designing for Waterjet, Part 3

Designing for Waterjet, Part 4

After reading these short lessons, you'll be on your way to being a waterjet cutting master.

If you have a need for custom parts, you've probably already considered waterjet cutting. For example, se the work we've done for our work for MattyCiii, who needed a simple bracket.

But every tool has its limitations, and waterjet cutting is no exception. That's why we created a series of articles to help you understand and work within those limitations: When you're ready to order your waterjet cut parts, use our quoting system to get immediate prices on custom metal and plastic parts and order online!

Super cool idea btw, will be having a closer look once I can figure out where you are? Might be an idea to update the profile with this info. 8)
