NEW HPC Frame Bag for Montague Folding Bikes!!!

Post by hi-powercycles » Sep 04, 2013 12:07 pm

Do to popular demand, we have successfully developed a battery frame bag for the Montague line of folding bikes! This particular bag is made to fit the 20" paratrooper hardtail bike perfectly. This bag is waterproof and is made right here in America with heavy duty 1000 Denier Nylon and YKK zippers. This is a very high quality bag with fantastic attention to detail. The entire top, bottom, front and rear of the bag is padded with foam to protect the bag from all sides of the frame. The sides of the bag have hard plastic inserts to minimize the probability of battery puncture. The bottom of the bag has provisions to mount your controller and hide the wiring up through the the bottom of the bag. The bag is large enough to fit our Li-NMC 78V 12.5Ah pack. We will offer it here on the forums for 15% off of its normal price of $129. So total cost is $109 + $9 shipping in the USA. You may also pay with paypal if you add 2 % extra. Our email address is hipowercycles@gmail.com

Also, this bag has worked so well that we are going to actually offer a Montague type folding bike of our own! It will be built from the ground up here in the USA and painted matte black. It will have the same high quality components of our HT-1 hardtail bike which includes a Rockshox XC32 TK solo air shock and matching SRAM X7 front and rear derailleurs and shifters. The rest of the specs can be seen here http://hi-powercycles.com/product.sc?pr ... tegoryId=8. Depending on how sales go, we might offer even high end models in the future. Optional will be a high speed schlumpf drive! We just had to do something about the extremely uncomfortable stock riding position on the off the shelf Montagues and low grade components for the asking price.

Keep in mind, waiting time will be about 4 weeks as they just went to high volume production now. This offer will be good for 2 weeks, and after that will be normal price only. Thanks.

Thanks for looking, and hopefully this bag can come in handy to some of you. Another cool thing about the bag is that you can take a few straps off, and swing the battery to the top side when folded and keep the battery on the bike! Pictures of the bag:

Very cool. What are the dimensions of the interior of the bag?

Not exactly interior specs but close enough for me:

The 3 bags shown on that page don't look, to me, like the one shown here. If it is shown on that page, which one is it?

I thought it might be the top one on the bag page but probably not. My bad....

Interior dimensions are about 13" x 6" x 4.75" this is the part before the taper up front. It is not up on the website yet, you will have to shoot us an email if you are interested. The joe p24 bike looks like it will be compatible, but I cannot promise anything since I don't have it in front of me to test. Thanks

Is this bag available? If yes, will it fit a pack sized 276x140x101mm? It should, but just making sure.

If 13" x 6" x 4.75" are the approximate inner dimensions, what are the outer dimensions? Specifically the length...

Cheers

Hi,

Do you still have the bags available? If so how much for x1 + shipping to the UK?

Thanks
A little bit of extra effort at the right time, and in the right place saves a lot of effort later on!

Wow I'm getting a bag right now, it has been so much trouble trying to find a battery placement solution for my paratrooper pro.

You said you had improved the riding position,,may I ask what changes you implemented?

I tried that one and hated it. Just not safe.
Then went to a SATORI-UP2. It is a great product!

But it's not an extender. It's adjustable, but it doesn't do the same thing as that other one.

Couldn't you use both at the same time, making it both height and angle adjustable?
