6F 2kW SW Controller 100V dual sensored/less iOS/Android $99

Post by Powervelocity.com » Jul 24, 2017 4:02 am

I know guys you have been waiting long enough but I am finally living up to the promise: the 6F version of sinewave controllers is now available for immediate orders.

These are the smallest in the family of controllers seen here:
https://endless-sphere.com/forums/viewt ... 31&t=81020
here https://endless-sphere.com/forums/viewt ... 31&t=75888
and here: https://endless-sphere.com/forums/viewt ... 31&t=85156

These controllers retain all of the features of the bigger brothers as discussed in the threads quoted above PLUS they can operate with or without hall sensors. In sensored mode, they will run motor super quietly thanks to sinewave modulation. In sensorless mode, they will switch to trapezoidal modulation which will add a little wheeze while spinning a motor. With or without sensors, a smooth start from standstill is there.

No special configuration is needed to switch between the modes: just connected sensors if you want sinewave and don't connect them if you want square wave and/or otherwise don't have sensors available on your motor.

Those who ever got stranded on the road with burned hall sensors would appreciate the feature.

If that's not enough, I build these controllers with the best 100v mosfets available today: AOT290L. Conservatively rating them at 2kw, but they can do probably even better than that.

Just a quick overview of the features: 3 programmable positions for speed and current, soft and hard start, cruise control, adjustable regen braking(sensored only), flux weakening (sensored only), CA connector, and much more.

Bluetooth programming is available as an external add-on for $49.

Also, 12F and 18F versions are now available with AOT290L mosfets and dual sensored/sensorless mode.
Inquire via PM.

thats awesome!
i wonder if it works with 60° and 120° hall sensor loacation?

btw: i was searching for AOS290L Mosfet and couldn't find anything... could it be the AOT290L?

Yeah, 60 or 120 degrees settable from a smartphone.

Thanks for the correction - it's AOT290L mosfets from Alpha and Omega Semiconductor (AOS). That's where the confusion comes from. Fixed now in the original post.

Get a Cycle Analyst and a Multimeter, you're still a noob if you don't have at least one of each.

CSD19506KCS.

Possible to build using that FET to make a controller for 16s max?

Or the 100v version.

What would be the cost with variable regen shipped to UK?

Can the controller be made waterproof?

What's the dimension and weight?

Thankz

The new modules will become available in two weeks. That's when I have information on pricing for var. regen.
Controllers are water resistant which means you can ride in rain but not install it on submarines.

does the controller also has auto-tune? So there is no need to check which hall combination works?
