Had bit of a nightmare with the setup of the motor on the vesc, the vesc had a firmware issue first of all that wouldn't update and then after I did manage to push the update the software didn't recognise and kept asking for a update, after manually pairing it with its unique uuid code over Bluetooth and then entering this into the pc software the vesc started to behave correctly and allowed me to set it up.

Then to my horror the motor was not syncing properly with the throttle when ever i changed position there was a pause and loss of control over the rotor making a banging noise as it stalled out, so many hours of digging through the parameters I come across a section in the advanced motor section that's says lower the number better the rotor control for low kv motors so I set this number to 1 and as if by magic the motor behaved perfectly, hopefully 2020 will see this one out the corner of my room and working.

How have you found the wet weather tyres?

I’ve considered buying a set of these. I’m just worried they might wear fast in non wet conditions.

When i get to ride it I'll let you know, but at the moment it's middle of winter and stinking outside so I got a month or two before I get some decent riding weather.

I'm hoping for a few hundred miles at best out of these they are quiet a soft compound, I've got a set of junior tyres too so once it's running I'm just gonna beast them have a blast all summer when ever i can see how much abuse it can take before weakness shows.
