Shipping will be expensive is my guess. $100 being optimistic. Hahah

But note one thing though, this is for a 36v15ah version. The one sold by super scooter is 48V13ah. So in term of battery you are getting more watt hour. And more power. Also the super scooter version has better chain and probably better support. I would rather pay a bit more for less headache than deal with some one overseas especially conhismoter. Bought a battery from them and it had a bad BMS. I never heard from ever again. I ended up replacing the BMS, but not after it had damage some cells. So now I don't get the same capacity as I use to. I am just running it now to get the most use out of the $800 battery.

Live and learn. I got burned too many times trying to go for the cheap and end up paying more in the end due to these things breaking down with no warranty or support.

where did you see that they have a better chain?
I read the standard #25 chain is plenty strong...

The one you link from conshimotor looks like hill climbing #25 chain which is small. I had the 800W version and the chain would slip from time to time. One time, it slip so much, it stripped away the teeth on the sprocket! With the beefier chain on the 1000W Lithium Turbo, I have never had a chain slip.

Here is the link for the scooter on super cycle scooter. You can't really tell from the picture, but just compare the width of the chain this and the one on conshimotor.

that might be a #35 chain,

regarding slippage you might not have tensioned it properly,
I could never get mine to slip.

800Watt versions uses #25 chain/sprocket.
All 1000Watt versions uses T8F chain/sprocket which is robustious than above, also louder.
Yeah, chain slip is because of bad tension or the chain and sprockets needs to be replaced due to wear.

I ordered that motor wheel, they are testing it now and should ship it away any day.

And here is a sound comparison
scooter.mkv

I love this wheel, how could I cruise around with that awful DC motor and chain drive before? It is VERY quiet on the road. Can barely hear it with the wind
Speed: from 37kmh to 39kmh
Power: about the same, from 1162W to 1183W Max Wp
The new motor wheel was a direct fit. But I don't really know how to mount old brake caliper with it yet! They dont fit together.

Couple of questions:

1) Where did you get the hub motor?
2) How much did it cost?
3) Can I get one?
4) Is it sensored or sensorless?
5) What Voltage are you running it at?
6) Do you think a Lyen Controller can replace the current controller?
7) It seems like you got lower top speed compared to the old brush motor? I am getting 26-28mph (42kmph - 45kmph) on the old 1000W DC brushed motor.
8) How do you pump up the tires?

I am interested to mod my scooter to this hub brushless if it can help me go faster.

If this motor can handle 72V, I am thinking of pairing it with a Lyen controller with 72V Lipo and see how fast this can go. Ideally I want to get to 35mph (56kmph) with pretty decent starting acceleration.

COnhismotor.com as posted above
1. Motorized 10" wheel: USD120
2. 36V 750W Controller: USD45
3. Twist Throttle with electric lock: USD15
4. Shipping cost by China Post USD 90

Email them, Jason will answer, you pay, he ships :)
I think it is censored, it has a bunch of wires from it, three main and about 5 thinner ones (I´m not an expert)
Did you not see my movie? Info in there.
I have 37V lipo
My stock motor was 800W so Im happy with the power it is a bit faster now. I really don't want to go any faster than 40km/h with this china crap anyway, to unstable!
You can try to ask Jason if he think it can handle 72V. Lyen will work with this motor.
