Thank you for your reply,

the maximum speed is about 42.5Km/h (26.4MPH) in theory.
it will depend finally on the total weight.
simple calculation.

the range i hope it will be more then 40Km (25 miles).. and again, i will know for sure only after real test drive.
but for sure, In low speed or hills, i will save a lot of energy compare to the normal scooter in the market, thanks to the transmission.

about the DC to DC, this is the item that i bought :
http://www.ebay.com/itm/DC-DC-Converter ... 3a68fb8c0f

this is the controller:
http://www.aliexpress.com/fm-store/3138 ... -s-EV.html

about the motor, i dont have information on the web, it cost me about 150USD.

Thank again for your support.

interesting...
where r u gonna mount the battery?
a Ezip 750 scooter would make a nicer donor vehicle for 12" wheels,
it comes with front suspension fork...

For: Sk8norcal

Yes, Ezip, Very nice Scooter,

i think about different stand up scooter, you can see in my pictures,
i think in this way, I have better controlling on stability, also in this way i can put big capacity of batteries more easily, (i have 51.2V@15Ah),

after i finish in the future i think i will add some suspension for front wheel.

Nice work!
I'm interested about the motor. It looks like a nice size.
I found riding a stand up scooter with feet off to the sides difficult. You may want to make your foot pegs more like running boards and have them go the length of the deck so you can easily change your foot position. Usually you need one foot ahead of the other to maintain your forward/backward balance. If you depend on the handlebars, they better be really strong. Low speed cornering will take some practice too.

Personally, I'd put a seat on it. It could be easily removable.

I rode something similar years ago:

Nice work Astropower. If I had your patience and metal work skill, I would have built the whole frame from scratch.

Hi Baruch,
Nice scooter. Is it running yet?
Where did you buy the motor? And where did you get the batteries?
You should checkout tncscooters.com, he ships to Israel (except for motors), and has good prices.
Did you have any problems with customs when you got these parts?
You should hook up a battery management system (BMS), or at least an LVC (Low Voltage Cutoff) to protect your batteries.

I have many scooter parts, so if you need something urgently I can lend you the part until you order it from abroad.

Hello all,

i just continum with my build now. i was too busy.

as i told you, i start with painting,
1.jpg

this is after painting, need to dry. also i connected aluminum legs ped (BMX style).

This the front end back light, LED 10W for front, 1W LED for rear.

I make mix between Black color with Metalic Silver, to create Dark metalic Gray.

Second picture of frame
6.jpg

Battery:
My cells are 16pcs of 15Ah Headway 40152. total 53V.
All the BMS are waste of money, not reliable, and do not do the work properly And with them you can get stuck in the middle of the road without a logical reason, and I do not want it to happen.
so, in order to save the life time of this cells, i need to add some components.
1)to balance cells, i was order 16 units of balance boards. it balance with 1400mA, (in BMS board it about 85mA to 150mA). the balance is only when i charge !.
2)to protect over discharge or short cells output, i add Fuse of 50A.
3) to protect low voltage, my controller cut the power off when the voltage is 41.5V, and for me, to know when my batteries are low, i add some device, from the RC toy world,
this device, for 8 cells, so i connected 2pcs, it can programmable, when voltage below then 2.7V, of some of cells. it start to make alarm.
