Hey Everybody!

I have a Turnigy SK3 6354 Motor connected to a Turnigy 150A ESC and 6s lipo.

I used the setups with/as friction drive on my penny board back in 2014. It worked like a charm- did a lot of powered riding and everything was great for about 4 months since I got all the components.
One fine day- while riding the motor made some beeping noises and then started to stutter. I was so upset - and thought i had broken the motor by using it on a friction drive. Not knowing how to fix- i put it away.
I've missed riding an electric skateboard and finally want to try and fix it- or at least understand whats wrong with it- so i can try and fix or replace the faulty component.

Here's what happens

Any senior members here know what could be wrong here? please help

thanks in advance!

Havent ridden in ages..

Might be the magnets in the motor.. it would rock if you had a second esc and motor to verify if the problem is the esc or motor..
If i had to guess (which i do..) Sound like you smacked (if there is a dent on the motor) or spun it out (if there i no dent) the magnet out of alignment.. If so the motor is probably busted. Try opening the case, and verifying if the magnets look orderly.. if one looks weird there ares pecialty glues you can paste the magnets with never actually done it myself as the fixed motor will at some point cog again and spit you off, (so i just cry a bit and throw them out) however i belive this video might have some clues....https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b1mHfdbLaY8
if it were the esc .. change the timing from high to normal but i seriously doubt it is the esc..
good luck
