skateboard remote

i have been looking to improve the remote for my electric skateboard. the one i have at the moment is made from a gt2e controller


but i have seen a few small bluetooth game controllers on the bay, has anyone had a mess about with these. i have ordered a couple of them just to see what there like.

found this link so will put it here for reference, its a cheap foam flyer but the controller looks like a good cheap case for putting electronics in.

wow that foam copter remote is very similar to whats used with some cheap boards like koowheel.

If it is the same its actually nrf24 which could be hackable.(depends on the micro) I think i want one to mess with.
