Mounted to the handlebars on my A2B Metro !

Tool free mount works great, much better than the previous CA mounts ( that also worked good but if they loosened up during a ride were a pain if you don't carry tools ! Rare thing, but has happened to me a few times..)

My street is a dead end going to a construction company, and there are no street lights. To me this is pitch dark, i have something called CSNB http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/X-linked_congenital_stationary_night_blindness

Bottom line = I can't see shit without bright light ! :| And canot legally drive a car after sundown. :!:

The halogen bulbs emmit a yellowish light, nice flood, and good spot.. picture is not the greatest as i'm still experimenting with night settings and this camera is not the best for that.

This is aprox 75 ft, no camera flash..

I have a growing collection of flashlights ( and spent another 300$ worth on dealextreme last week.. ).

So for comparison, the 3 on the left all used AAA eneloop cells for this test. The 4th on the right is a 900 lumen MTE M 3-2 with a single 18650 konion lithium cell.

I'm waiting for Justin's new Cree XP-G based headlights due out May 15th.
I saw a prototype in the store a few weeks ago. They're slick.
Over 1000 lumens, 7.5 W and operate anywhere from 18V to 100V AC or DC.

Justin makes some seriously nice stuff. 38 Bucks for that 900 lumen flashlight is amazing though! Just have to step down the voltage somehow. I love that it is 18650 powered though:D genious. (and dangerous:D)

Ypedal, what is the #4 flashlight and how far are you from the fence? It looks the best out of all you listed as well as the dual fro Ebike.ca. Afraid to ask but what did they cost? That's a great comparision, great job! I'm also blind as a bat in the dark, barly handle the twilight hours.

It's this one :

The fence is aprox 25ft away.

For 36 $ shipping included, ( but not the battery, so get a charger and a few cells with your order, 10$ for a charger and a few bucks for cells if you don't already have 18650's ).

I've always been into flashlights ( being blind as a bat all my life, have had one on my belt for years.. nothing i have owned until this point compared to this. I ordered the 5 bulb unit already :

:p

i used a pair of 35w driving lights for 30 bucks and a 17 dollar 3s 3000mah lipo
all in under 50 bucks
i also plan on using the 3s for a booster during daylight hours
