Just a suggestion, (i love polls!), would you consider at least one more option?

-equal interest-

That would be my choice as both are 'news to me' and equally interesting, as i'm currently feeling slightly indecisive in regards of most news coming down the pike.

If you don't like that idea, I might would have to go with the eu financial story.

One other option could be:

-none of above- with an option to fill in whatever current news story has the poll-ee's interest?

Did that with the unfortunate result that it wiped out the vote, so anyone who voted needs to vote again.
