Hi D,

Nice to see you, this first edition of the mongoose:

The second edition:

With the third edition i have sell the Agni motor to Ypedal with the controller Alltrax 7245 and i have use the steer tube of the mongoose on this new bike. There’s nothing left about the frame of the mongoose except this part and this original 450 watts motors.

Good and take care D

Hi Deecanio,

May be not a shame at all  , my old frame as made is time I mean that it as bean cut and weld too many times. I forgot to mention that I have also reused the bottom tube with the sleeve (this tube serves to keep the swing arm in place in my new ebike and on second edition).

If you need a good frame is better to start from scratch and build your own frame base on this mongoose design, this frame as nothing special and is not very hard to make one from the scratch with the right dimension for your needs, Others members here, with this Mongoose frame are TylerDurden, Joepostal and Duffmanaudio to name a few.

Good Day "D"

i had a question regarding the width, how wide is it now and is it too wide or could it be wider?

Hi Bandaro,

My ebike is very strong; the wheel base is 53.5" and the handling is really great compare to any DH bike and the carving is really great with the correct tire.

This ebike is wider enough, the internal width of the frame is 3 ½ "and about 3 ¾ for the external. Of course it can be wider, but one of my primary goals was to be able to pedalling it and I wasn't able to do it with a wider frame.

Presently the weakness point on my ebike is my batteries pack I think that those Konions are getting weak on every ride. I'm trying to figure if I can put a Lipo pack at 100 Volt 25 Amps on this frame.

If I had known that Motopeds exist, I will never create my own frame and i use the Motopeds frame to build my own ebike.

Good day!

Always loved your builds BA I saved the pics of version 3 Would love to recreate that.. Also like the one piece cast crank- We don't really need no stinking pedals :D Keep up the great work and be safe. ps I would like to see a closer shot of the flashlight mounting and maybe a shot or explan. of the swingarm pivot..

Cool build! We need video of it in action!

Hi Torkey,

Thanks for your words, the one piece cast crank doesn't exist anymore I have replace it with BMX style crank set and its allot stronger.

The funniest part with my ebike is when I'm pedalling it at around 20 Mph. Is really fun to pass a poor sweating guys on steep hill at that speed, its make my day every time.

The flash light mount is only (2) stainless collar for each light. Well after the visit of my good friend Doctorbass I will buy from Geomangear (4) magic shine 900 lumens only the light head. They came with the fixation and they are better looking than mine for only 44.99 $ my flashlight are 34.95 $ but for 10 $ more is really better.

The swing arm pivot came from the original Mongoose and I have reuse it on this ebike, it has (2) bushing and one screw. But the plan for next year is to use (2) big bearings for stronger pivot point.

Good day!

Hi Tom Tom.

I have made a full-size cardboard mock-up to get an idea of the final result, but the build was done by local machine shop with this design and they are followed my instruction to do it.

Then I don't have too much pictures that I can show you but I will post those ones, good day!

Hi Tommy,

In fact not the Stealth Bomber was born before my own design, this frame is heavy, too big, the crank set is not really appropriate for a pedalling ebike. I will trough it to the garbage soon or later and I will reuse the swing arm next year for a new project I have in mind.

Good day

Frame looks good none the less
I bet if you posted the frame in the fore sale section, you would get at least one buyer willing to pay for shipping or, better yet, pick it up locally. There is definitely someone out there who wants a bike that looks somewhat like the stealth bomber for a fraction of the cost.

Thank you, well like I said I keep the swing arm and the future buyers need to build is own swing arm to fit this frame. This frame can be used with 100 Volt 21 Amps Konions Battery pack in is belly (336 Konion cells)
