nice!

I just converted my marin to single speed..however mine is a rear geared hub.

whats it like pedaling with single speed however? That is a pretty low gearing too...guess you pedal start then hub takes it to 25mph pretty fast?

I had the rear geared motor on this bike before but switched it over for more pop. I have the gearing set to get me up to about 15mph pedaling. Using the motor and pedals in tandem off the line gets me zooming! Now all I need is 60v!!

The geared motor performed great and I really loved the fact that it freewheeled but I wanted more speed and torque. The direct drive does have a bit of magnetic resistance but it rarely affects the overall performance of this bike. I'll be able to create a video this coming weekend and post it early next week. Stay tuned!

I am hoping to have a video posted by Monday using both my 36v 10ah LiFePo4 and my newly acquired Li(NiCoMn)O2 48v 10ah (6 pounds).
