Nice! That's great that all you have to do is fold sheet metal and then weld the tabs. About as simple as it gets, I think. Forget welding, just use DP420 and glue the darn thing together and start riding tomorrow!

Can't wait to see what colour you do ROG, I'm thinking black always a good colour, or some sort of anthracite, going to get it powder coated. Here it is tack welded.

lol yes i went for white well everybody going for matt black or the stealth look but my build is not a stealth bike i went for battleship grey but it did not look right so i wanted to make it look std as poss i will be adding some carbon fiber panels that will help tone it down a bit plus by painting it if it gets damaged i can paint it at work for free  if i had plastic coating then i would have to pay  to have it re coated plus if i get bored with white i can do it any colour i like :D

Its looking awsome Rodger! Is that painted in automotive 2 pac? It looks great in white, so much so i think we'll end up with twins
EDIT: i just looked at your pics again, they'll definately be twins with us using the same forks, similar shocks and rims

Regarding the wheelbase, at 49" (1245mm) yours is a fair bit longer than mine at 47.5" (1206mm). How tall are you? I'm only 5"8 and find mine is about as long as i could comfortably handle, reach wise to the bars. If you think you might struggle with reach, try going to a shorter stem, i use one of these 45mm direct bolt on Sunline stems:
Sunline Direct Mount 45mm stem.jpg
Sunline Direct Mount 45mm stem.jpg (87.65 KiB) Viewed 1253 times

These are similar and well priced: http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/Mode ... elID=59067.

Anyway, i know you'll be busy getting it all built so you can post more pics for us to gander at so i'll leave you to it
Keep up the good (and fast) work!

Paul :D

P.s. Batfink - yours looks great mate, get a thread going and keep the pics flowing!

Looks great ROG, great colour choice too, Well done, you will soon be on the road with that baby :-) Awesome.

Could you tell us a bit about how you did those nice little buttons for the cycle analyst as i need to find a solution for this too.

I had a good inspection of my own frame and i am going to make a few modification to get a little more internal area for more juice for longer rides and the mods I'm planning will make my frame a bit stronger. wish i was as far ahead as you as i go for an operation on my knee at end of month and don't know if i am going to get a chance to ride it before then so fingers crossed i do get my bbay up and running before then.

thanks paul yes its ici 2 pac the colour is ici 2 pac 900 mixing tint it was the best match half a litre did the complete frame with some to spare just in case it gets damaged
going to go for 3d carbon decal on the bottom part of the frame from steer tube to bottom bracket that will help stop stones chipping the paint and do a bit on the side panel the more black you add the better it looks mmmm make it look like a police bike then less chance getting a tug lol  i sat on it to day and i think it will be ok glad i did not do it any longer tho  the next thing is getting some sort of bike side stand made up working on that will keep you updated 8) very cool to think that there will be 2 ebikes that will be twins both on each side of the planet shame i was not living closer then you me and jay on the white stealth could go for a run the 3 white amigos
