Specialized Epic comp carbon & Cyclone 1680w

Some details of the gear used:
- Cyclone mid drive 1680w
- EM3EV Battery pack:Triangle 30Q, 50V 17.7Ah
- AFT Upgrade: Aluminium mounting bracket, Motor Freewheel ACS crossfire 13t, 48T chainwheel with ACS
- Kelly controller KLS 48121S
- Home made noise reduction gearbox cover
 
Looks like a very clean build !

Was it hard to wire and program that Kelly sinewave controller to your cyclone motor?
 
Hi Alex07 ,The connection cyclone to Kelly is as simple as it comes, plug and ride !
I still managed to fry one when wiring the shunt and throttle to CA
Since then I kept it simple and use the CA only for monitoring

ohh that's pretty cool so the Kelly controller plugs strait into the cyclone motor ? does it need some programming as I have read on here sign controller are hard to prgram ?
 
You are right, there is some programming to be done.
I bought the Kelly with Jim at AFT and he has done the programming before sending it to me .

I actually took the idea from AFT upgrade, i think the noise reduction is around 25 to 30 %, no pic on my computer, will post one next year !

Another pic of the AFT bracket upgrade, i raised the controller position so all the connectors can be inside the box
