What are some good 3000 Watt hub motors for 26inch rims?

I currently have a 1500watt bbshd on a hybrid bike and I want to sell the entire package and make a new ebike. This time around I'm thinking about using a 3000 watt hub motor that will take me to the mid 40 mph range. I know I'll need a 72v battery pack and will see if a custom pack could be made to fit the bike I want. What kind of controller do you recommend that will allow me to use a display that I can use at night?

please contribute if you find more.

The Cyclone (4th one you listed) is not a hub motor. I think OP was looking for recommendations not the results of a Google search.

The 3000W nominal hubmotors from QS motor will do 10+ kw and take you over 60 mph easily.

The Leaf 1500 does about 3000W continuous and at good efficiency.

If you only want to go mid 40s and don't need lightning acceleration and power wheelies stick to mid drive. CYC X1 is a killer mid drive in that power range. Your bike will handle like shit with a hub motor, which may or may not be made up for by the smooth, silent acceleration and endless wheelie capacity.

I would stick with a leafbike 1500w motor for a bike like that. Add some statorade and you can definitely get 3kw out of it for probably a few minutes at a time. With something to monitor the temperature you'll be golden.

Otherwise what'll happen is that you'll end up sacrificing all the positive characteristics of the bike just for the sole purpose of getting those big wattage numbers. These 1-1.5kw DD motors are a pretty good compromise.
