Ireland's Current E.V Charge Points

Not bad, the orange points are being installed or commissioned. Note, the map does not include the 6 counties of the North of Ireland being U.K territory!

The Blue points are the fast 50kw DC points, obviously far fewer, but the on street chargers are capable of 22 kw ready and waiting for the Renault Zoe which has it's charger on board and so making the street chargers massively cheaper!

I am told all of the on street chargers are being upgraded to 42 kw, so Zoe can charge in 30 mins from 0.

I wonder will the Leaf go down the route of fast A.C instead of DC ?

Looks like we will have a pretty good charging infrastructure soon!!!
