Ebikes faster than cars in local transit

I used to consistently get to work quicker on my ebike than when I drove in traffic, just because I was riding in the bike lane and not stuck in the queue. This was not travelling at particularly ludicrous speeds either, 30 - 40km/h maybe pedalling the whole time.

If you're in a city, transiting at a time when there's traffic, I agree completely.

Ebike is so much faster than a car during rush hour gridlock it's not even funny. You will hurt people's feelings easily with this kind of advantage, so be careful! :D

Cutting the line by being on a bike pisses off the drones in the cars, but it's damn effective at shortening a city commute time. Sometimes you can cut a lot of distance off too, where a car has to wind around through a complicated parking lot entry, maybe stop to pay, while you hop a curb and blast right to the front door to park.
