I have at least a couple of 0V puffy cells removed or yet-to-be-removed from packs, if you are interested in those, and want to pay the shipping from Phoenix, AZ. I think only one is already removed and at least one or two more I have to get out of the packs still.

Hi Amberwolf,
I was hoping on complete packs, but I will take it if you have 4 bad cells
Are they the same size?

I have some, and I'm in Santa Cruz. I'm curious what you want them for?
For ebike parts, don't be a douche, buy from http://www.ebikes.ca or http://www.MethTek.com

AFAICR they are all Turnigy 5Ah cells. I gotta check to see for sure, though.

If I didn't need them myself, I'd be happy to do partly-dead packs with still-good cells, but that's how I'm getting the good cells to build my secondary battery from.

Do not mail bad LiPo cells. Do not support someome looking to mail them.

The goal is to not cause planes to burn out of the sky from battery fires, or we ruin this industry and hurt the electric revolution for everyone.

I guess we should stop Leadershobby from selling sketchy packs, which is what I want to contribute to.
As it is, they have my money and I want it back. Only way to get it back is to return my sketchy packs, thanks to Paypal's way of claim resolution.
So - I rather return completely dead and discharged cells, which cannot be resold again and which are also not a danger to ship,
because the danger comes from cells with a charge that fail - the failure may lead to short circuit, heat and fire. Completely discharging the cells before shipping back to Leadershobby will make the packs unusable to them and the money that I paid for unusable packs is returned - if everyone claimed their money back from bad suppliers, there would be a lot less of them. Hope this disclosure helps to clarify the situation and reason.

Update: I have reconsidered the issue of shipping bad packs and decided not to take the gamble.

@LFP: If they're already at 0V, how likely is it they would spontaneously combust? If this is a highly likely scenario, then I think Methods (or was it Stochastic?) might want to rethink his way of reusing packs with bad cells, of simply shorting across them and leaving them in place, and using the pack as a smaller-S pack.

Also, if enclosing them so that there can be outgassing as needed but not oxygen-entry prevents flameout of a venting cell (such as in the cashbox video recently posted), perhaps they could be safe to ship (though I would still not do it by air).

I'm also assuming they'd still ahve to be shipped hazmat/etc.

Any thoughts? (besides what you've already said ;))

That is what I prefer anyway - even pick up packs if they are in the neighborhood or I can combine with another trip in the same direction.
However, my LiPoly packs with 1 cell at 0.5V and another pack with a bad connector arrived with days from ordering with Leadershobby in Hong Kong. I tried to cancel when I heard what quality they were shipping and received a confirmation that it would be canceled, then it was shipped anyway. By air, of course.
