Postby number1cruncher » Thu Apr 26, 2012 11:32 am

If you have a burned out, messed up or malfunctioning controller taking space in your life and want to get rid of it, let me know. I may buy it if the price is right. Thanks!

Blew a hole right through the board. Should have upgraded the controller wiring to silicone...the power wire melted and shorted out. BOOM!

I'm primarily looking for parts to reuse, so that piece of charcoal up there wouldn't work. Unless the connectors are still usable.

Neil, I have no doubts you could get the job done! If I'm ever looking for a demolition tester, you're high on that list.

Wow...now THAT is kee-rispy! Still, I bet there are parts to be salvaged off of that thing. :) I like that the case has a lid that comes off, rather than having to pull out the ends.

To most people, dead electronics are just wasted money, but to some of us, they are organ-donors for other dead electronics, while we yell out IGOR---MORE POWER!!!! If I had the money to ship all of everybody's dead stuff here, I could eventually use quite a lot of it. So could others that revive things, though they probably have more money than I do. (I already have a growing box of fried controllers donated by various people, a few of which i've fixed or used a lot of parts from to fix other things).

PM me, I've got two controllers that look new but don't work. Both died because I didn't use a precharge when running 24s.

I have a dud e-bikekit controller that just stopped working. No smell or anything. They must not want it back, because my offers to send it in if they supplied shipping were ignored.

$12.50 shipped to your door in the continental US.

"A couple of 24V Currie pas/tag controllers (need some connectors) with throttles. A universal 24-60V scooter controller (needs a connector) with throttle. A 36V scooter controller (needs a couple connectors) no throttle. A golden motor external 24-60V sensored ebike controller brand new unused has all its connectors. All the scooter controllers are for sensorless motors. I know the Currie controllers are between 20-35A. As for the other scooter controllers I'm having trouble finding complete specs. The specs for the golden motor controller can be found at goldenmotor.com."

This is from my want post. All of these controllers still work I just don't have any use for them. As mentioned some of them are missing a couple connectors, mostly the motor and battery connectors.
