SOLD - Crystalyte 12FET 36-72v analog controller

Up for sale is an original Crystalyte 12FET 36-72v analog controller.

Bought it from Nicobie about a week ago, but i just got hit with some medical bills, and the bike is broken, so some stuff needs to go. Never even got it fired up.

This is *the* controller for MAC / BMC motors. Am sad to see it go without having test it, but i don't have much of a choice. :cry:

$80 shipped to the lower 48 USA states.

Is the controller still available? I'd like to buy it. What kind of connector does it have for the halls?
6,500 miles on scratch built LWB aluminum recumbent with Crystalyte 408 hubmotor and Ping 48V 20AH.

I still have it.
I think the connectors are called deans connectors. They will fit through the axle and are a lot more stout than the stock hall / phase connectors. A custom wire job will need to be done.

went through battle, bloody resurected Dewalts 4x28v 2s2p usable 2.7ah, 52v drops to 44v at 54kmh
78v 2ah Vdrop to 58v at max 66kmh.
72kg rider + 23kg bike.
keywin 20a 30-70v mod to 6 4110 as methods advised for noobs, shunted 38a
clyte 24-72v 40a mod 4310 to 4110, shunted to 77a
17.5.11 - 5000km
at 78v 4ah 72.7kmh Vdrop to 68v
10.11 - 82.1kmh
30.8.12-17000km

No idea, said he ran 96v on it until he melted his motor.

I opened it up and it was pretty pristine inside. Was surprised to NOT see the caps bulging, lol.

I ran it at 22s lipo (92v hot off charger). It most likely had 500 miles on it until I screwed up and cooked a BMC 600w-S by running it at about 3600w up a long hill. A friend was riding it and I had forgotten to switch on the amp limiter :oops: . I tested it with my Lyen tester and it tested fine when it left my shop. If interested, the shunt value on this controller for a Cycle Analyst is 1.223.

Neptronix, If it isn't already sold, I'd keep the Clyte controller and sell your other one.

Unfortunately after my recent crash, i am thinking lighter with less power again.
And after the recent hospital visit, i am thinking i just need the $, lol..
