Vectrix with "dead batteries" on c-list

not mine but I thought it might interest someone here.

Wouldn't the LVC have kicked in to protect the batteries? Maybe they can be waken up. seems like it could be a pretty good deal for someone w/ the time and space, in other words, not me.

You'ld think it was a great deal and for someone willing to upgrade to lithium it could be but then you also got to look at maybe the $1600 motor controller and/or $1500 charger. I get so sick of reading about all the problems with these bikes over on visforvoltage.org. Recent thread of some folks without working motor controllers.

You would have thought a company building e-motos would have added electronics to protect the battery, charger, controller. The mechanics shocks and brakes seem better than my e-motor but the electronics suck.

Buyer beware. Many happy riders but many bought used thinking getting a bargain, only to fine out otherwise
Motorcycle: ZEV 6100, 77V, 40AH, 60+mph; CA, halogen head lights, and faster charger added
Cost to date: $1730, MSRP $6550 - $4120 tax credit - $1200 referrals + $500 mods
Big EV Grin. :)
