C3640 Infineon based 72V 40A controller w/ regen SOLD

Postby StealthBobber » Tue Aug 14, 2012 12:07 pm

Up for sale is a 72V, 40A controller with 12xIRFB4110 mosfets, Forward/Reverse switch, regen, and CycleAnalyst connectors. It is a C3640 with the 100v Capacitors and has been modified for 72 volts with a R01 resistor change on PCB. It is similar to the current $175 C7240 Controller available from ebikes.ca, but without the 26-88 volt operating range as this controller operates between 54-88 volt.

It works great and has no problems at all. SOLD

This listing will be marked SOLD when it becomes unavailable. PM your name, contact info and I'll contact you on a first come, first serve basis. Thank you!

:o, how many of these things do you have?

I'm still fixing the other one (thank!) I just forgot my desoldering pump at work, so I will got it tomorrow. I prepped everything before I realized that.

To remain on topic, I can say/vouch that stealthbobber did deliver the other controller I bought and was also kind enough to give me some heads up about a few small things to be aware of during the repair (e.g, to beef up the red switch to ensure long term reliability.)
New to endless-sphere? Notice a lot of signatures recommending Ebike.ca? That's because it's the best place for a quality and manageable, (but still 'real'), first build. Justin is a solid supporter of electric bike development, and a good source of equipment.

My hat off a thousand times to the green people that effectively run this forum. The ES Mods are superb.

Hi,
I have a GIO 500+ converted to 60 volt, and now |I want 72 volts. I am interested in your controller. Is t still available?
Is it a difficult conversion with the wiring. What would I need to convert the connectors?
How do you wish payment? Does PayPal work?
Thanks
