Hi guys,
I am going to build an electric coffee cart, at the max speed about 5 km/h that I could walk only.
The weight of that will be 250-300 kg and I want to drive to the van, so i would be about 15 % ramp.
I do not know what type of acceleration Id need. PLease give advice
thx

You might want to play around with the http://ebikes.ca/simulator to see what results you get with different motor, controller, and battery combinations, for your conditions. It'll show you what will happen with different combinations of stuff, once you get the hang of it.

If you use your existing bike to ride the way you want on that terrain, pulling a trailer with the same load weight the cart will have, while using a wattmeter to measure the power usage, that will also help you by knowing what usages you might see.

There are also other threads about heavy bikes/trikes and hills (or acceleration from stop/start, which amounts to the same thing), that will have info for you. My SB Cruiser thread, in the last several pages, has it's present configuration and load capabilities. There are also some of these:

Thanks, I did check it, I have ordered 2 hubs MX01F 500 Watt geared. and use them on two wheels, one wheel on the front will be steering.
Now I have to reverse one of the hubs and use any swich to go forward and backward, is it possible ?

Unfortunately, geared hub motors won't run in reverse. they have a freewheel that allows them to coast when not in use. But just like the pedals on your bike that you can spin backwards, a geared hub motor in reverse will spin without engaging.

If you have access to a welder, you may be able to open the motor and weld the teeth of the internal freewheel, allowing the motor to also be run in reverse

I am thinking about two options
1. two hub motors on two back wheels ( one of them reversed) linked by chain 16T/40-50 T
2. one hub motor over the front wheel , with the adapter on the free wheel side to mount the sprocket and use double chain.
