How to winding brushless motor

Hello all

First, sorry for my english

I have a motor as on the pics it is a stator TRW power stering pump motor has 12 rotor slots 7 magnets.

The stator is wound in such a way that it has 8 pins.

I want to wind it like a standard brushless motor and use it for my bike

A BLDC motor has to have an even number of magnetic poles, so "7 magnets" is a bit weird.

My guess is that each of those 7 segments is magnetised with 2 poles on the same face similar to those used in the actuator motors in hard disk drives.

That would make your motor a 12N 14P motor which are very common, and there are many online guides to winding them.

Well, maybe I did not think about it.

How to wire up to get out of it as much power but to not overheat it and not burn it

How would I make 18 threads with 1mm wire would it be good?


I need to wind up to get 350-400 kV
