Hi everyone, I got myself this controller
https://imgur.com/a/CCCWk

I use it together with 14S7P battery and 9C hubmotor.

I would really like to have regen function, but either it doesn't have it at all, or it is hidden or disabled.

When I spin the motor to top speed and short the black and white twin cables, it doesn't do anything except for disabling the throttle.

Is there a chace regen can be enabled somehow? If yes, I can take it apart and post pictures.

Maybe I need to do something with that display connector?

I also found this picture https://imgur.com/a/Pqrzd in Infineon controller .doc from here https://endless-sphere.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=19446

Could it be that my controller is rebranded Infineon? And I just need to do this to enable regen?

So I opened it, and unfurtunately it's not an infineon :(

I managed to identify "high brake" pin, but it doesn't do anyhing (I tried connecting it to GND and also to battery +, but there is nonchange in motor behavior, and the brake cutoffs still only dible the throttle, nothing more.

Should I give up and look for other controller?

Would you recommend a suitable one? My battery is 14s (aka 52V), and can provide 30A.

Regen won't work on a lot of controllers if the LVC is too low for the battery connected. I had to change the LVC on my 72V controller when I went over 78V of battery. That nay or may not be the problem you're having.
