Would this RFID ignition switch work?

Hello everyone and a happy new year to you all

I have a DC to DC converter, and I came across this on eBay and wondered if it would work in replace of my key switch. Here's the eBay link

I doubt that the switch would actually turn.

If it can handle the full voltage of your battery, or if it can switch an external relay, then it'd probably be able to act as a keyswitch replacment (assuming your keyswitch is like many and switches the battery voltage to the MCU side of a controller. If yours is different you'd need to know what the keyswitch actually does and determine if this one will do that).

There's some stuff here on ES that might be easier to use, if you look up
RFID
(especially in thread titles, and display by topic).
