I have found my swing arm bushing is getting sloppy already will pull apart and maybe make better bushing on the weekend or I might just build bearing set for it.

Hi

I have same EEB frame as yours. I need to get that swing arm fixed before I start building my bike. How did u fix it and the side panels are they waterproof? Thx

awesome bike! just started the same build, sourcing parts as i find measurements. What was the length needed for the brake lines? im ordering them prefilled and i know the regular length brakes will not reach on this frame. Thanks!

Hey man, nice build. If you don't mind me asking, what is the largest size shock that will fit on this bike?
Also, do you know if a Shinko 241 19x3.5 tire will fit inside that back swingarm? thanks!

230mm was way too big. and 200 too small. It called for 210-220mm I used fox float R to get my exact height. Go through my thread that shinko did not have a lot of room left. you might get that on if you shave the side tread. That is what I did to get the current sport tires on.

Thanks for replying man! So many people on these threads tend not to. So since I'll have the QS273V3 motor on mine, and I'm 6'2", I'm thinking I'll have a fabricator make special mounting brackets so that I can mount an Ohlin's TTX 12" moto shock parallel to the slope on the back. I will be doing a fair amount of off road. Sort of something like the bike in this photo below. I've read on here as well that with this motor many people bottom out even with a really stiff spring. I would like to have around 10" of travel at the back wheel.

Regarding the tire...hmmm, you got me worried. I really had my heart set on that Shinko 19x3.56 241. Unfortunately they don't make it in a 3", and I've heard a lot of bad reviews about the 244's. They don't make that one in a 19x3 either. I guess the search for the right tires may have to continue. I will be riding 40% on road so I don't want straight up MX tires, besides that fact that I would catch crap on the mountain bike trails where I ride, it would tear them up.

How is that Battery disconnect working out for you? Another thing I'm not sure about is changing the tire without disconnecting the hub motor. It seems like a pain in the ass. I saw you have a disconnect on yours, but doesn't that introduce more resistance in the power? I'll be running a 52AH panasonic battery with a Sabvoton 72200 200A controller.

I am running low amps so the plug does not affect anything on the rear wheel. I decided against the battery disconnect and went with golf cart power solenoid for 48v and it has been flawless since the change. Personally I would buy the tire you want and try it for fit then sell if does not work, you can shave a lot of width from the sides. I will add the larger the tire the less agile it will be and you give up power and performance. Adding 3 ponds of rotational mass is massive off road. I have had 3 tire styles and weights. You want light as possible off road.

Solenoid. Interesting. Does that function like a breaker?

The reason I wanted that larger tire is to protect the Rim if I go offroad, those shinkos have 4 ply side walls to protect these cheap chinese moto rims so this doesn't happen. N4qib0Jl.jpg LOL

I hear you on the handling though, it's a great point.
