Just did a few road tests with BMC 1000W motor. Well, the results are not impressive. At 50V there is no difference in performance between Crystalyte 35A analog and 50A digital controllers, except that with digital, motor is jerky on take offs (between 0 and 3 mph), and with analog controller, take offs are very smooth. So I'm no longer offering Crystalyte digital controllers.
At full throttle, on take off motor consumes 15 amps, 10mph - 20amps, 15mph - 25amps, above 25mph 29-32amps.
Also, it seems 600w speed is slightly slower but has more torque than 1000w.
BMC claims that V3 motor goes 40mph with their new 50amp acontroller, I will have those controllers available around mid December. V3's are available for $495.
