Batteries of all kinds need respect they can burn your house down, so don't sleep with them under your bed or any other were you cant afford smoke or fire!

So my goal is to fit 4kw of lipo on the bike!
And 3 24FET controlers and a onbord charging supply!!! (even if its a slow charger just something will be nice)
SO I figure I can fit 4kw of lipo infront and above the engine. Then I will be taking a mold from the tank to make a fake tank from CF and put the three 24FET controlers under there. Then the slow charger in the nose and the Rad in the tail secction!!

Absolutely love this project, can't wait to see it finished. Quick question ,have you considered using por15 for painting your brackets?? The stuff is near indestructible (only real way to get it off is a grinder) and you can buy small starter kit for about $20.00 which would probably do all the brackets on the little ysr. I've used the bake paint, the por is just easier and tougher. Just a thought, keep up the good work and congrats on the house.

Haha I use por15 for sealing tanks all the time.
But I wanted to paint the bracket black and I like the wrinkel paint it will look nice with the theme I am going with.

Haha maybe. A room in the house or in the Shop.
It is prettty sweet in the shop but just wait till I build some more shit.
The biggest thing is I need more batteries and controlers and money is tight getting a new house set up!
But it will come.

Hope to get working on this more soon!!!

SO I got a mold off the front fender and im just making it as smooth as possible to lay CF inside it.
I also got some cleat gelcoat and thinned it down with styrene resin thinner then used my hvlp auto pait gun to spray a gel coat on the next peice before laying fiberglass on it to make a mold but man I spent all day sanding.... So borring!
But hope it all turns out as good as I plan. Im sure another 40-60 hours of prep work and I should be able to make some carbon fiber body work.

http://www.sevcon.com/pages/gen4.html

I also still plan to build the 9 phase controler but time and money So far I have 2 24 fet bare bords and 2 36 fet bare bords so I need one more and all the wireing and caps!
I have 3 of burties timeing bords and I have just spent about 40 hours in the last 3 wheeks doing some lay-ups to make all the molds for my body work!
