I have 2010 Yuba Mundo 21sp in Orange for sale. I talked to one of your members Seriousknot, and
he advised me that I should put my Yuba up for sale here, as there are (apparently) literally
hundreds of lunatics that think bikes can be converted to e-bikes
(What's funny was that people were doing this very same thing with gas 100 yrs ago, but,
maybe its only me that thinks thats a new observation).
Here's the info from my Craigslist posting:
FOR SALE: 2010 Yuba Mundo "Third Version" Cargo 21sp Orange
This is the v3 Yuba Mundo Cargo Bike, as shown on the yubaride web site:

(the flickr set shows some electric conversion too)
Picture of actual bike is the 1st one, against the fence (link FIXED!):
http://gallery.me.com/loslosbaby#100088 ... &view=grid
It has a cargo capacity of 200lbs, comes with the built-in cargo deck which is 32" long,
two cargo outrigger "loops" so you can set things on, or fashion your own cargo boxes
(those clear bins with flip-tops or rubbermaids are awesome!). I also put a cooler on
mine (100 can) which literally is cool!
This bike is the "ding/dent special" and has some scratches on paint that I didn't
put there...no tube dings. It has always been a garaged, and it shows. (first picture
with wheel backwards against the fence is the actual bike, up at Lake Hefner)
This bike is over 1100$ new, and is so big its 150$ min. to ship it. Asking 800$
in OKC. I can bring it to you (in my van) to let you ride it and see if a cargo
bike is for you.
Notes:
- Its big!
- Its long, but surprisingly not slow steering (that's why the wheel flops back)
- It rides SMOOTH, because of the long wheelbase
- Big tires, Big hubs, LOTS of spokes!
- Replaced seat clamp with ultra-strong clamp, otherwise not a single problem
- Practically a bike taxi out of the box
- Comes with chrome fenders (generic) unmounted and mirror
- Has a disc brake bracket on the fork already
- Does not come with lights shown
- Very often converted to electric boost
- Easy to put on passenger pad/stoker bars (See mundo accy store:
Accys: http://yubaride.com/yubashop/6-utility- ... ccessories
Parts: http://yubaride.com/yubashop/7-mundo-utility-bike-parts
If you're interested, please send me a PM, with your phone number and I'll call you.
The bike is in OKC, but I'll go as far as Fort Smith AR, Dallas, TX, Wichita KS, and
Amarillo, TX to sell it. I have a van so its not going to get wet/dirty etc.
Thanks!
G.
