Virago 750 Frame

What do you think of using a 1982 Yamaha Virago Frame as a conversion piece? Is this too chunky. I have had this bike along time and the engine is now just lame and it is time to think electric conversion as the gas price keeps leaping.

It is a chunky frame, but I don't see why it wouldn't make a useful conversion. Won't go real fast but there is probably enough room to add 60 kg worth of lithium cells in there...
Voltron the Electric RG250 - Dual Agnis, Kelly 1200A controller, 6 kWh of A123 cells from Cell_Man and a shitty old chassis from 1985 :| Top speed 180 km/h, max current 600 A @ 100 V.

Say no to spaghetti junction LiPo! Assembled Hi-power LiPo packs of any size!

Come on Casey! If you want prototype racing, throw your leg over something with lithium in it :D
