Is a 6 AMP Battery Charger 6 AMP Total Or Per Bank?

Postby Gregski » Fri Aug 12, 2011 10:54 pm

Just what the title says is a 6 amp battery charger 6 amps total so 1.5 amps per bank or is it 6 amps per bank, 24 amps total?

Be gentle I'm learning.

6 amps total for the whole pack.
Since you can have all sorts of various parallel configurations, chargers are based on what goes into the pack as a whole.

Pro-tips for noobs: Avoid BMS Battery like the plague | Charge RC Lipos to 4.15v, stop discharging at 3.5-3.6v | Use torque plates/arms! | Rear mounted hubs are always best
